Another special order from amazing guitarist Peter Wood.
He wanted a dedicated cabinet built for his Two Rock – Kimock signature head (see photo below).
Cabinet’s impedance is 16 ohm – two 8 ohm Celestion G12 – 65 reissue speakers in series. Inner microphone capsule, moulded into vibration cancelling foam, attached to a sliding platform designed by Peter Morris. The platform can position capsule in any of the desired positions in front of the speaker from centre to the edge and can be locked there. This is a very useful feature for someone who frequently changes the speakers and needs to pick up it’s tonal variations during recording.y |
