| This is an original No.0001 prototype vertical 2 X 12 cabinet. The idea of the creation of this wondercab actually started the business relationship between two innovators Dr. Ika and Peter Morris. Without speakers cabinet weights 13 kilograms. Two neodymium Celestion G-12 Century speakers add just FOUR kilos and 102 db. tonefull 160 Watts. Impedance of each speaker is 16 Ohm, so in parallel they make 8 Ohm. If someone requires louder configuration we suggest 8 Ohm Centurys in parallel (4 Ohm). To avoid “in your face, ear drilling” unwanted high frequencies, while playing loud in medium or small clubs, we made cabinet’s front grill and rear panel interchangeable! Instead of putting a Plexiglas screen in front of the cabinet, one can just reverse it (right photo). Tone becomes bit darker but extra large baffle halls still allow milder high frequencies to come trough clearly. The dynamic microphone capsule, permanently fixed in front of the optimum tone spot of the speaker, guarantees perfect sound reproduction via the PA in any application. Sound engineers LOVE to work with our cabinets and so do the roadies! |
